It seems that the Titanfall PC multiplayer rooms are getting less and less populated and some gamers are pronouncing that Titanfall PC is dying but with the new Titanfall Expedition DLC, it could bring some players back.

Titanfall is set to receive new content, both free and premium, over the next few weeks.

Developer Respawn Entertainment announced a number of planned updates at its PAX East panel. As noted on Twitter, the shooter's first DLC pack, Expedition, is coming in May.

Pricing and precise release date were not provided, but Polygon gathered a few details. The DLC's story is set after the main campaign, and the pack includes three maps.

Swampland is set in alien ruins and allow players to wallrun on trees. Runoff will feature water. Wargames is based on the training simulator.

According to Kotaku, Respawn also announced new game modes are on the way, and will be free to all players. One new mode is a 2v2 version of Last Titan Standing.

Other upcoming updates include new Burn Cards and hashtag matchmaking filters.

Respawn is investigating certain other requested features, including Titan insignia, player statistics and regular, time-limited mutations like Left 4 Dead 2′s, which Respanw calls riffs. None of these features have been confirmed.

Titanfall is now available on PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
