SBS Wednesday/Thursday drama "Three Days" may broadcast consecutive episodes on April 17th.
On April 17th, a staff member of the SBS drama bureau said on a phone conversation with XSports News about the rescheduling of programming related to the Sewol ferry crash incident and said, "The first priority is about delivering the news and the second priority is about broadcasting "Three Days".
Accoridng to the staff member, SBS is expecting to broadcast a special report related to the Sewol ferry crash incident and depending on when the special news report ends, it will be decided when "Three Days" will be broadcast.
In addition, if the second priority happens, then the 13th episode of "Three Days" and the 14th episode that is expected to air will be broadcast consecutively. The entertainment show "Honey" will be cancelled.
On April 16th around 9AM, near Jeonnam Jindo-gun, the passenger ferry Sewol sunk as it was heading to Jeju Island around the 21 km mart. According to YTN, there were 475 passengers around 9:30 AM and there were 179 rescuers and 287 people missing.
At this, the three terrestrial stations decided to cancel its entertainment programs and drama programs. However, on April 17th, MBC and KBS broadcast its regular broadcasting for Wednesday/Thursday and the entertainment shows will be cancelled. SBS will decide on whether to cancel depending on the situation.
