Grey's Anatomy Season 10 Episode 20 Recap: Cristina was getting ready for her trip to Boston to attend the Harper Avery Awards, though Owen insisted on coming, she wanted to go alone. Meredith was supposed to go drinking with her to help her write her speech, but she was pulled into an all-nighter, as well as most of the surgeons.

Derek had been buried with so much work which he said he could handle. He managed to teach the residents and operate on her patient. However, he forgot to call Meredith to inform her where their children were. Good thing was the kids were taken care of Callie and Arizona. The couple had argued who should carry their next baby and they agreed to flip a coin for it. Just when the result was up, Arizona blurted out that she doesn't want to and Callie should.

The parents of the three kids who had heart failure had a big fight, but Cristina was there to stop it. She hung out with the kids and when their mother came back, Ivy was being treated by Dr. Yang and told her she might have been rejecting her heart. While she was in the operating room with her, Frankie had disappeared and had gone into heart failure. Alex and Cristina placed an LVAD for a fix. Now, the three siblings were in the organ transplant list.

It was time for Cristina to go. Meredith and Owen sent her off. Derek and Mer talked, he apologized, and he confessed that something had to change.

April and Jackson had a huge fight regarding their faith. He thought it was ridiculous and she said that she pitied him for not having to believe in something. In the morning, April showed up on Callie and Arizona's doorstep and asked if she can stay there for a while. Apparently, they weren't able to manage it.

Cristina showed up in Harper Avery Awards, surgeons all over the country were very much interested in her work. She freaked out and called Meredith and admitted that it was a mistake going there alone. She went in to look for her table and surprisingly, Owen and Meredith were there. When it was time to hand out the award, the presenter announced the winner of the Harper Avery Awards and it was not Dr Cristina Yang.
