Wolfcop Trailer: Get ready for some bad-ass cop action that will match Robocop's high-tech guns and Judge Dredd's sense of justice! Get ready to meet Wolfcop!
The film's trailer, as well as the official synopsis, can be found on the film's official website. If you thought the trailer was interesting, wait until you read the blurb describing the film.
"It's not unusual for alcoholic cop Lou Garou to black out and wake up in unfamiliar surroundings, but lately things have taken a strange turn. Crime scenes seem oddly familiar. Lou's senses are heightened, and when the full moon is out, he's a rage-fueled werewolf. WOLFCOP is one cop's quest to become a better man... one transformation at a time."

According to Cinemablend, WolfCop looks like one of those movies that must have been a lot of fun to work on. Not only is the film promising werewolf goodness, but it also looks like it's going to attempt to tell a story of a man's inner transformation as well. At least, it'll try to do as much as any killer werewolf movie can do with that sort of story. It looks like director Lowell Dean has a love of the retro 70's vibe, a healthy sense of humor and an appreciation for genre eye candy that directors like Edgar Wright and Eli Roth before him have shown in their work. If there's any sort of doubt that the filmmakers don't know full well what they're giving the viewing public, then the film's official poster will serve as evidence to the contrary.
If this isn't a movie destined to show up in your next grindhouse marathon, then maybe you need to go up and watch the trailer again. Drunken werewolves are this year's armed hobos! WolfCop will be released in its native Canada through a limited theatrical release platform on June 6th of this year. The rest of the world will have to wait until September to see it, but this is the sort of film that has "Demand It" written all over it, so stay tuned for further details.
