Freedom Wars new trailer "Change" has been released and it shows new key characters and a deeper story development from the game complete with English subtitles. Freedom Wars' new trailer begs the question of what is freedom and revolution for characters in the game?
It was last week that Freedom Wars release a gameplay trailer of the game that features six weapon classes and their functions against enemies. The humans are now living in underground cities called Panopticons as they struggle to find ways to come back to the surface. As over population became an issue, the citizens of Panopticon started arresting anybody from crimes they've committed whether this is true or not, and as such force to battle monsters to earn their freedom by lessening their sentences indicated on top of their heads.
The protagonist of the game has a crime sentence of 1,000,000 years for the crime of living, and struggles work to lessen his life sentence. As you we further into the trailer, the protagonist must fight off monsters with the help of his fellow criminals turned allies, stopping Abel and the Red Rage from destroying the humanity, and save a mysterious girl named Beatrice Anastasi who is dubbed "the key to destiny and revolution." The trailer ends with a cryptic line that says "By saving her you will connect yourself to revolution and the real meaning of freedom...."
