Anne Curtis News Today: Anne Curtis is still recovering from wounds she had in a recent accident where she got stung by a box jellyfish. The "Dyesebel" star said that it was definitely an eye-opener.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News in Boracay on Saturday, Curtis said she feels like this is already her second life.
"It put a lot of things in perspective. It is an eye-opener sa things that I value and what I want to make the most out of," she said.
Curtis, who is now back at work, said that her wounds have yet to fully heal. "It's a lot better, konti pa. Back at work but may bandage. We are able to fix it naman," she added.
Curtis was in Boracay over the weekend because she took part in the 2014 Century Tuna Superbods where her fellow endorser John Lloyd Cruz revealed his leaner body. Curtis just like Cruz, stated that she is also trying to live a healthy lifestyle.
"It's a different kind of fitness for me kasi previously I just try to be skinny. This year I want to be fit so it's more of knowing on what to eat and work out, not just diet," she said.
When asked about her recent controversies involving John Lloyd Cruz and Sam Concepcion, she simple said "Tapos na."
ABS CBN reported that late last year, a drunk Curtis reportedly slapped Cruz at a high-end bar in Taguig. The actress allegedly confronted Concepcion over his relationship with her sister Jasmine just last month.
In an interview with reporters in Boracay on Saturday, Curtis said she no longer has anything to say about these issues.
She said, "We are not here to talk about that. You know me, I'm always open about it, but we're here to talk about Century Tuna. Respect that na lang."
Curtis talked about Cruz's improved shape after the actor underwent a six-week fitness program and lost 18 pounds.
According to ABS CBN, the "Home Sweetie Home" star was presented in February as the newest endorser of Century Tuna, which stages the annual Superbods pageant that promotes a healthy lifestyle.
Both Curtis and Cruz were at the Superbods event last Saturday where the actor revealed his trimmer body.
Anne Curtis said, "I'm so proud of him. We were talking backstage. Wow, ang galing! In a span of six weeks and he had that accident pa so ang galing niya. And he was saying nga na ipagpapatuloy pa niya."
"I think there's a lot of people who always start the year with a resolution but they don't continue. It's really up to you to make it happen. As you saw from John Lloyd, kung kaya niya, kaya nating lahat," she said when asked for her advice to those who also aspire to live healthier.
