Fans of "Louie" can sigh a breath of relief after 19 long months because season 4 is set to air next week.

More good news follows, as it was announced that two episodes of "Louie" will air every week.

The first episode of "Louie" will take fans into the world of Louie's bad back, where Charles Grodin portrays the doctor with the unhelpful diagnoses, according to ScreenCrush.

We'll be able to see Louie taking a gig in Long Island and bumping into a mysterious model (Yvonne Strahovski) in the process in the second episode.

During an appearance on the new season of "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," Louis C.K. said that he saw "Louie" going on for "seven or eight years tops."

Hopefully we don't need to wait as long for the upcoming seasons.

Some of the scripts for season 4 have reportedly been written in collaboration with comedian Steven Wright.

Loyal fans of "Louie" should be also be relieved to know that it'll be a long time before Louis C.K. runs out of material.

During a phone interview with The Associated Press, the comedian stated, "The good times that I'm living started about three years ago. If you pit those years against 43 years of struggle, you still have plenty to draw from."

Although the recognition of being a phenomenal comedian is great, the 46-year-old comedian stated, "But it's like if you were being called a really good pilot: that doesn't make it easier to fly the plane. The fundamentals of the task are still the same, and hard as ever."

The father of two also opened up about his thoughts on his profession.

"The second you choose show biz as a career, you're almost guaranteed that you're not gonna make it," says the comedian.

Despite the often bleak outcome of his career, there are some factors that Louis C.K. appreciates about it.

"I have no idea. I love the curiosity factor. That's what keeps me going. I love wondering what's going to happen next," said the comedian.

"Louie" season 4 will at 10:00pm on FX on May 5.
