NBA 2k15 is one of the most anticipated games this year and 2k Games has revealed that the dunk contest is back and it's better than ever! Look at these amazing dunks that will make it into the regular game and in the NBA 2k15 slam dunk contest!
Pretty awesome stuff, right?
2K Games is really going all out this year by bringing back a lot of features in past 2k games that weren't included in NBA 2k14 such as the all-star Celebrity team and of course what better way to debut the All-Star Celebrity Team than to introduce their star player, Kevin Hart!
However we do have some bad news for PC gamers who would like to play NBA 2k15 on their machines.
NBA 2K15 PC release date cancelled? PC sports game fans are probably in shock right now as 2K has confirmed NBA 2K15 for the PS4 and the Xbox One but they didn't mention a PC release leading fans to ask, is the NBA 2K15 PC version cancelled?
Speaking during an earnings call, Take-Two president Karl Slatoff stated: "In addition, during fiscal 2015, consumers can look forward to exciting next generation releases from our NBA 2K and WWE franchises as well as other unannounced titles that promise to raise the bar for excellence. We will have more to share about our titles throughout the next several months as we head into E3."
It should be noted that 2K has been continually dropping PC support for the NBA 2k series as evidenced by the fact that a lot of features found in the console versions of the game are nowhere to be found in the PC version.
What is the cause of this?
People have speculated that piracy is the problem due to the fact the peak number of players playing online in Steam is eclipsed by the number of downloads made in torrent sites like the piratebay where cracked games outnumber legit games sold by atleast 50 to 1 according to the statistic group "Neilman SAT".
It also has been reported that various NBA 2k14 PC modders have openly admitted to have pirated the game and some have been illegally selling modified content.
Should 2k release a PC version of NBA 2k15 knowing that it would be heavily pirated? Sound off in the comments below!
