There have been news developments for the upcoming "Terminator Genesis."
News that "Doctor Who" star Matt Smith is being cast for a major role in "Terminator Genesis" has been confirmed, according to Deadline.
Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions clearly have plans to make the final trilogy of the "Terminator" franchise as big as it can possibly be.
The rest of the "Terminator Genesis" cast includes Emilia Clarke (Sara Connor), Jason Clarke (John Connor), Jai Courtney (Kyle Reese), Dayo Okeniyi (Danny Dyson) and, of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
News reports have confirmed that the film is set for a July 1, 2015 release date.
Fans will be reassured to know that Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be retiring anytime soon.
The two-term California governor told The Independent, "I'm not like a retired person that you see in movies, sitting in the rocking chair with the pipe dozing off every two minutes talking about the good old days."
The 66-year-old actor added, "Yeah, sometimes I take a nap when I feel sleepy and I am at home, so then I have the luxury of lying down for a hour."
He also confirmed that he is truly aging backwards, in his mind.
"I feel the same as I felt when I was 25 years old, the only thing is that my body doesn't feel the same. You make certain adjustments and enjoy life exactly the same way, but you are not a machine," stated the former Mr. Universe.
Schwarzenegger reassured fans by stating, "I don't even consider retirement because I haven't heard of any good experiences of people who have done that."
The father of four added, "I have seen people who retired at the age of 60, being the head of a studio, or people who have retired from politics at the age of 65, and they are lost. For myself, I would get bored, I always like to have a challenge."
More updates on "Terminator Genisis" will be coming your way soon.
