Here's some Fantastic Four reboot news: Invisible Woman Kate Mara talks about the Fantastic Four reboot movie in the latest Manhattan Magazine as new movie villain Tim Blake Nelson comments on the movie's script having "real heart" and "soul"!
Kate Mara talks about the new Fantastic Four movie as she graces the cover of Manhattan Magazine as its new cover girl. The new Manhattan Magazine features some elegant shots of the "Transcendence" star and some insights of her life.
This is what she had to say about the Fantastic Four reboot movie.
"The whole thing will be different than anything I've ever done...I really loved [director] Josh Trank's take on it, and I'm a fan of his last film, Chronicle, which was like an anti-superhero movie-really dark, which is what I like. I like things that are rooted in reality and that are dark and not what you expect. And I think that that's probably what Fantastic Four will be."
Kate Mara plays Sue Storm a.k.a. the Invisible Woman in the Fantastic Four movie along with Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm / The Thing, and Toby Kebbell as/Victor Von Doom/Dr. Doom.
Meanwhile, the newest villain added to the Fantastic Four reboot Tim Blake Nelson shared his thoughts on the script. It was reported last week that Nelson will play Harvey Elder a.k.a. the Mole Man in the film were in he plays his "normal" self before his rebirth as the Mole Man himself.
We all know that that X-Men: Days of Future Past screenwriter Simon Kinsberg describe the plot of the movie as cross between Sam Raimi's Spider-Man and Chronicle, and this is what Nelson thought about the whole thing regarding the script of the film.
"Yes, it's pretty much closed, with me playing Harvey Elder, who becomes the Mole Man. I absolutely loved working on ['The Incredible Hulk'] and feel extremely blessed that Marvel, Fox, and especially ("Fantastic Four" director) Josh Trank and his team have invited me back into the universe. The script is excellent. It has real heart, and it shows a true understanding of what it is to be a burgeoning adult geeked out to the margins."
He further added by saying
"Without going into detail, the script has as much soul as it does action, and it has a lot of action. We're all going to have [a] blast making it."
The Fantastic Four reboot began shooting last week in Louisiana, and will likely see the film next year , so will just have to wait for more updates very soon.
