Avengers: Age of Ultron Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch plans to "mess with the Avengers" as both actors talked about the movie's development. How will the super powered twins hit the nerves of the Avengers?

The duo of Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen has been headlining in recent months, promoting the upcoming Godzilla movie reboot, and starring as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in the upcoming Avengers move sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron. Director Joss Whedon commented before that he wanted to introduce a "brother-sister act" that is different for the audiences in a way that is offhand and seem out of place. In an interview with iAmRogue, Aaron Taylor-Johnson commented Whedon's offer of being part of Age of Ultron.

"Just before I started Godzilla I met Joss... He said to me, 'Do you want to be in Avengers 2? There is a super hero I'm thinking of for you.'"

He further added by saying.

"The thing for me was for [Whedon], 'Why add any more super heroes to this thing?' He said, 'No, there are these two characters that I want to bring in to like f*** with the Avengers and not be just an add on.' He told me a little bit about the writing and I said that the only reason I would want to do it is if it is a character that can still stand out.

You know, you've got five of the most awesome super heroes, ten I suppose, there are about ten Avengers now, and they are all movie stars... You've got such a huge cast, what the hell difference is it going to make if I come on the scene? So it was the character and that took about a year of going back and forth about it. It took a while but I'm super happy to be in that one."

Elizabeth Olsen who plays Scarlet Witch also commented on her part in the film.

"I mean it was such a funny coincidence. We had just finished Godzilla and then we were the two people approached for Avengers. It was kind of random. But we were like, 'That sounds awesome. Let's do it again.'

We have a much more closer connection in Avengers actually," she continued. "Because we play these twin brother and sister that never leave each other's side. In Godzilla, the whole point is that we are apart. So it's totally different, but nice to have known him and his family, and him as a person as well as an actor before doing that."

She further added that.

"It's awesome to try and create a role that has not been portrayed in live action yet... It's been cartoons, comics, and video games. It's fun to take what we are doing, the comics, the cartoon, and the fans, and try to figure it out where you are going to play.

The two up and coming stars may have some good chemistry together, but how will the super powered twins fair against the likes Iron Man, Captain America and the others in the movie?

As we saw in the end credits of Winter Soldier, Baron Strucker captured and imprisoned both Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch as the two displayed their powers. With Quicksilver having super speed, and Scarlet Witch having probability and reality warping powers, these two will be a serious threat to the Avengers not mention having Ultron join in the mix.

Will we see Iron Man and Captain America trying to keep up with Quicksilver, or Thor and the Hulk having a hard time trying to survive the powerful probability and reality warping abilities of the Scarlet Witch?

We'll get to see those possibilities soon when the Avengers: Age of Ultron shows in cinemas next year.
