Vampire Grave In Poland: 5,000-Year-Old Body Found With Stake In Leg, Young Blood To Reduce Aging As Real Life Vampires Explained

A vampire grave was found in Kamien Pomorski in northwestern Poland.

The grave, which is believed to house the body of a vampire, was unearthed during a dig in a marketplace in the town in Poland, according to IBTimes.

Kaienskie.info has noted that the team involved in the search found that the "fangs" had been removed while a fragment of rock had been inserted into the mouth of the supposed vampire.

The leg had reportedly been staked in an attempt to prevent the body from rising from its grave.

"A piece of brick rubble in the mouth and pierced thigh indicates that it is a vampire burial. This was done not for him, but for the community, who lived here," stated Slawomir Gorka, who led the dig in Poland.

"Initially we thought he had suffered a leg wound, but from sifting through the earth underneath, we realized there was a hole likely made from a puncture," explains Gorka.

Gorka stated that the same rituals were common in burials in the Kamien Pomorski area between the 13th and 17th centuries as the body was reportedly buried in the cemetery next to the town church.

While news of the findings of the vampire grave surfaces, the question of whether real vampires actually exist has been raised as well.

Recent health reports that young blood reverses aging might actually explain the existence of real life vampires, according to The Inquisitr.

The connection between young blood and real life vampires is inevitable, as young blood will apparently not only provide youthful looks, but also a quicker reaction to situations, two characteristics that are common in vampire culture.

When researchers injected old mice with the blood of a younger generation, the mice were reportedly able to navigate mazes faster and ran longer on treadmills, according to the Washington Post.

When old blood was injected into young mice, their reactions were the complete opposite while the creation of new cells were delayed as well.

It has yet to be confirmed whether young blood actually does reverse aging in humans so don't sit at home and try to experiment just yet.

The Inquisitr has revealed that there are real life vampires out there, meaning that there are people who prefer to drink blood on a daily basis.

In fact, there are vampires all around us, according to a couple who drinks blood regularly.

"There's vampires everywhere. Vampires can be doctors, nurses, solicitors, bank managers, mechanics, someone working in your local supermarket, your friends, your family. We could be anyone," says the couple.
