Sharon Stone looks unrecognizable at 56 as she strikes a sexy, flawless pose on the May 2014 magazine cover of GQ Italia. There is no doubt that she is aging quite gracefully!
The Basic Instinct actress stuns in a black mesh bodysuit for the incredible photo, as she raises her arms above her head. The cleavage-baring suit leaves little to the imagination as it shows off her toned legs and svelte figure.
Stone may appear confident, but has admitted before that she's struggled with aging. "It hasn't been easy," she said in Shape's March 2014 issue, where she also appeared in the magazine cover. "There was a point in my 40s where I went into the bathroom with a bottle of wine, locked the door, and said, 'I'm not coming out until I can totally accept the way I look right now.'"
"I examined my face in the magnifying mirror, and I looked at my body, and I cried and cried and cried," she continued. "Then I said to myself, 'You're going to get old now. How do you want to do that?'"
The answer came simply for Sharon Stone. "I thought, 'I'd like to age like a dancer.' I want to keep my body in shape like that," she said. "I want to do the work. I like to dance and stretch. And I'm going to the gym."
She also cut out wine. "I don't drink at all now," she confessed to Shape. "I think, at a certain point, it's better for women not to have any alcohol because it can make your face, breasts and midsection get very bloated."
And with a body like that it, is hard to believe that Sharon once had trouble landing roles because she wasn't sexy enough. Back in August, the star sat down with Larry King and dished about the early days in her career before she landed the too-hot-to-handle role in "Basic Instinct." "When I started my career, I couldn't get the glamorous parts 'cause people didn't think that I was sexy, and they didn't think I was beautiful enough."
