The hard-rocking, head-banging J-Pop trio informed their fans during their first Budokan show in March that they would expand their music overseas. Now, BABYMETAL - composed of teenage girls namely SU-METAL (Suzuka Nakamoto), MOAMETAL (Moa Kikuchi), and YUIMETAL (Yui Mizuno) - is now all set for their first ever world tour this year! Yes, you've read that right, BABYMETAL World Tour 2014 confirmed!
The kawaii metal band will kick off their tour in July with shows in France, Germany, and two - yes two - shows in UK. Initially, they were invited to UK's all-exclusive metal music event Sonisphere Festival on July 5. Will hardcore metal heads prepared enough to take BABYMETAL's infusion of idol-like cuteness and hard metal tunes seriously? But then again, who doesn't want to scream out loud about eating chocolates?
While there are no US tour dates yet, the band will perform in London for the 4th of July weekend. BABYMETAL will return to Japan in September to wrap up their first world tour.
