With the success of the Pokemon X and Y gameplay, Nintendo took this as an opportunity to announce Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and if rumors are true we would see a bunch of Mega Evolution additions and the Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire release date!
Nintendo recently announced that the highly anticipated Hoenn remake will come to life this November with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
"Prepare for an epic adventure exploring a world filled with Pokémon!" says the announcement. "Pokémon fans first enjoyed Pokémon Ruby Version and Pokémon Sapphire version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokémon fans will experience the dramatic storyline that unfolds in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. Look forward to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire when the games launch worldwide in November 2014!"
According to Serebii, Satoru Iwata confirmed that these upcoming 3DS titles are in Hoenn remakes and not new versions of Pokemon games.
One of the biggest additions in the Pokemon X and Y gameplay was the introduction of Mega Evolutions and it seems that we would see the introduction of the Mega Evolutions of Swampert and Sceptile!
This is due to the fact that Mega Blaziken is one of the Hoenn starters, and since it seems likely Mega Blaziken will exist in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, adding Mega Swampert and Mega Sceptile seems like a natural leap.
So far, the fan wish list includes just about every awesome Hoenn Pokemon, like Mightyena, Metagross, Salamence, Flygon, Sableye, Sharpedo, Camerupt, Milotic, and more.
What new Mega Evolutions do you wish to see in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire?
