With the Witcher 3 release date delayed to 2015, other developers plan to fill in the demand with open-world gaming titles of their own. Guerilla Games is reportedly working on something similar, according to a leak from a trusted insider.

The report on Guerilla Game's RPG adventure title has been running for some time, and hints to validate this has been revealed in Twitter by a user tagged as Shinobi602. This is in light of the leaked Sony Press Conference details; apparently some of the information sourced out was credible.

It's probable the yet-untitled game will be premiered at the E3 event, hopefully with a playable version available. The title is comparable to the Witcher in scope, which, in RPG standards should be massive. The comparison may refer to the title's story and the scale of its interactive world.

The leak was handed down from a trusted journalist, to be confirmed by an insider from Guerilla Games or Sony (onlysp.com).

Sony has confirmed that a new IP game is indeed in the works, in an interview February. It does not confirm or deny comparison if development is in anticipation of the Witcher 3 release date. Executive producer Angie Smets: "We are working on a new IP, and we started on that already two and a half years ago, but unfortunately we cannot share details yet of the new IP, so you'll have to be a bit more patient on that."

Developer CD Projekt Red recently pushed the Witcher 3 release date as far as February 2015. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to push creative boundaries in the RPG adventure genre. CD Projekt Red admitted it doesn't want to rush the title into the market (ign.com).

In an open letter: "... we concluded that a few additional months will let us achieve the quality that will satisfy us, the quality gamers expect from us."
