Jennifer Lawrence Mystique in X-Men: Days Of Future Past went full-characted at Premiere.
In what looked a lot like an homage to her character Mystique's blue bodysuit, Jennifer Lawrence wowed in a form-fitting blue gown at the X-Men: Days of Future Past premiere Saturday in New York City.
All eyes shifted to Lawrence as she stepped in front of the cameras at the Jacob Javits Center in the figure-flattering Jason Wu design.
The Oscar winner, 23, completed her look with smoky eyes, black heels, a small matching clutch, and she wore her blonde hair swept to one side.
Wu was so pleased with J.Law's stylish choice, he posted a pic of her at the premiere on Instagram writing, "JLaw in JWU tonight #xmen #jenniferlawrence."
Lawrence was joined by her co-star and real-life boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult, although they kept their distance in front of the cameras.
Working with Hoult on the movie, in theaters May 23, was "great! Obviously," Lawrence told PEOPLE. "He's a fantastic actor, wonderful costar, great roommate."
Hoult recently expanded on that sentiment, saying, "It's fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time, so when you're on set together it's a brilliant thing, because you actually get to spend time together."
Lawrence also raved about working with a cast featuring the likes of Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, Ellen Page and Halle Berry.
"It was really exciting because this was the best cast ever," Lawrence said.
Ellen Page was also there and stopped to give fellow co-star Hugh Jackman a big hug.
This latest installment of the Bryan Singer-directed series centers on mutants past and present teaming up to fight for survival.
In addition to Lawrence, Hoult, Page and Jackman, the star-studded cast includes Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Evan Peters, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage and Anna Paquin.
X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters on May 23.
