Juan Manuel Marquez news came after the five-time boxing champion made comments that he saw the best of Manny Pacquiao during "Pacman's" fight against Tim Bradley. "El Dinamita," meanwhile, is not looking past his upcoming fight against Mike Alvarado.
"El Dinamita" has a long-time rivalry against the eight-division world champion, Manny Pacquiao, who faced former WBO champion Timothy Bradley in April.
"El Dinamita" spoke to Ring TV and tackled Pacquiao's performance against Bradley.
"I saw the best Manny Pacquiao because he landed a lot of punches with his speed. I liked the way that Manny Pacquiao fought," Marquez said.
"Pacquiao wants to beat everybody. I saw the best Manny Pacquiao. Right now, Manny Pacquiao is a champion again. Everybody knows that Pacquiao is a great fighter. Right now, Pacquiao, he'll be back," Juan Manuel Marquez news added.
The "El Dinamita" also faced Timothy Bradley in October 2013. Riding on his spectacular and definitive knockout victory against Pacquiao in December 2012, he was expected to put on another impressive perfomance against Bradley. Unfortunately, Bradley convincingly defeated him via unanimous decision.
More on Juan Manuel Marquez news, the "El Dinamita" is set to face Mike Alvarado, who is also coming off a loss against Ruslan Provodnikov via a 10th round referee stoppage.
Prior to this fight, he was coming off two memorable battles against Brandon Rios, losing the first one via 7th round TKO and winning the second one via unanimous decision.
It was only proper to make the two Top Rank wards face each other as both men make their climb back to the top. That is why an initial stipulation was put up that whoever won this upcoming fight between Juan Manuel Marquez and Mike Alvarado will be facing Pacquiao next.
Juan Manuel Marquez is fully aware of this, but as of the moment, his sights are set on Mike Alvarado alone.
"Right now, I'm thinking about Alvarado. I know that Manny Pacquiao is there if I win this fight," Marquez continued. "I don't want to look past this fight right now. Let's find out what happens on Saturday and then go from there."
