The latest in Justin Bieber news attempted robbery: celebrities aren't immune to felony charges, as an incident Monday night links the performer to the offense. The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating the allegation.

A woman from the San Fernando Valley area has accused Bieber of attempted robbery Monday night, allegedly after the celebrity noticed she was taking pictures with a mobile phone. The entire incident occurred at Sherman Oaks Castle Park, a leisure compound which covers a miniature golf course and a batting cage.

Bieber reportedly played miniature golf before having a heated argument with his entourage at the batting cage, which prompted the complainant to take out her phone for pictures. Bieber approached her and insisted to see if any photos were taken of the incident.

As reported by TMZ, the woman refused to hand over the phone, and Bieber grabbed it from her purse. The phone was locked from access, and the performer demanded proof that no photos were taken.

The complainant (who was with her 13-year old daughter the whole time) said she just wanted to say hello, to which Bieber responded: "You're humiliating yourself in front of your daughter. Why don't you just get out of here."

Bieber stormed off and allegedly vented steam at someone else.

A formal complaint was filed to the LAPD, and police went to the complainant's home Tuesday for a report.

In another testimony related to this latest Justin Bieber news attempted robbery, a Sherman Oaks Castle Park employee shared a different angle to the incident. She did confirm that the performer was upset, but only because the flash from the complainant's mobile camera was a constant distraction at the batting cage.

The incident never reached to the point the complainant argued, and it was the latter who was deliberately ignoring park security's request to stop taking pictures.

The incident occurred out of range of security cameras, but a photo of the incident's aftermath was taken, with police dissipating the tension (tmz.com).
