Meanwhile Jennifer Lawrence is in Paris, France filming with the rest of the Hunge Games Mockingjay cast for the two-part adaptation of Suzanne Collins's novel.
Lawrence left the glamorous dresses and red carpet movie premieres behind to go back to work on the final installment of the Hunger Games series, Mockingjay: Part 2. The 23-year-old “Silver Linings Playbook” actress was seen shooting physical scenes in Paris, France along with her co-stars, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth on Tuesday May 13.
Lawrence, Hutcherson, and Hemsworth were geared up and filming fight scenes for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. They were joined on set by their co-star Natalie Dormer, who sported her character Cressida’s signature shaved head.
Director Francis Lawrence addressed how the late Philip Seymour Hoffman will appear in the next installment of the film series. Hoffman, who suddenly passed away in February, played Plutarch Heavensbee in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” The actor had filmed many of his scenes for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay" movies before his death.
The Hunger Games Exclusive posted a conversation with Lawrence. "We finished the majority of his work," said The Hunger Games MockingJay director. "I think he might have had eight to 10 days left on our schedule. In most of those scenes, Phil didn’t have any dialogue. We are going to put him into those scenes, but we’re only using real footage. We’re not creating anything digital or a robotic version of him."
At the time of his death, The Hollywood Reporter learned that Hoffman had not yet filmed one major scene; it remains unclear how that scene will be produced.
Lionsgate just released the first photo of Julianne Moore as President Coin, the photo of which can be seen above!
The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 opening on November 21 this year and Part 2 scheduled for release on November 20, 2015.
