Cate Blanchett has a few movies coming out in 2014. The "Blue Jasmine" actress has signed on to join Brad Pitt in narrating "Voyage of Time," a documentary about life, death, and the universe from "Tree Of Life" director Terrence Malick.

Pitt, who starred in and co-produced "Tree of Life," is involved in "Voyage of Time." Voyage of Time is currently set for release in 2016, with a 40-minute IMAX cut.

France's Wild Bunch has picked up world sales rights to Terrence Malick's "Voyage of Time," a documentary project the Tree of Life filmmaker has been working on for the past 30 years. Malick has been working on the "Voyage of Time" project since the 1970s with visual effects artist Dan Glass (The Matrix Trilogy, Batman Begins) according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Vincent Maraval from Wild Bunch described the movie as: "This is a project we have been tracking for years and we are passionate about. This is a classic for the future generations, Malick's legacy to humanity."

Cate Blanchett is mentioned in a special feature on the upcoming Blu-ray/DVD release of her movie "The Monuments Men." Her co-stars George Clooney and Matt Damon sing her praises during the short clip.

George Clooney, who also directed the film, says about Blanchett, "I think of her as one of the two greatest living actors in the game. She and Meryl [Streep]. And I feel lucky that she was willing to do the part. Cate and I did The Good German several years ago."

Matt Damon gives a perfect example of Blanchett's talents.

"Jean Dujardin was watching one of her scenes and says, 'She seems French,'" he recalls. "When you're playing somebody from another country, speaking at times in another language, and then speaking English with that accent, and you're fooling one of the great actors from that country, I think you're operating at a pretty high level."

Monuments Men will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on May 20.
