The Big Bang Theory Season 7 Episode 24 Recap: Their thunder has been stolen!

Previously, Leonard and Penny had been engaged and tonight, they announced their engagement to that gang. Everyone was excited and then Raj came up with his announcement that Emily and him already slept together.

The couple got a little hurt, but Bernadette made a point that the couple always propose to each other and what happened to Raj rarely happens. The following days, he can't stop talking about what happened between him and Emily.

Still, Howard's mom still cannot stand up on her own and was being taken care of by a nurse. The nurses can't take it and they all quit. It was really difficult for Howard and Bernadette since they can't stay there all the time to take care of her. Bernadette even offered the job to Penny, but she can't stand Mrs. Wolowitz. Good thing someone became available and was very happy to be a nurse and he is... Stuart!

On the other hand, Leonard was talking to his mom about his engagement with Penny, which Sheldon already told her. She was not very much happy with the idea, but she said that if Sheldon was okay with Penny, then it is also alright for her. Penny also delivered the news to her mom.

When change is the only constant thing...

Sheldon was very upset that the university disapproved his plan of wanting to change his field of study. He even got more frustrated when Leonard gave him the idea of moving across the hall when Penny and he get married. Sheldon goes to Amy to release his anger, but he even got infuriated when she said that they could live together. He stormed out and went to the place he goes to when he's sad - the comic book store.

Sheldon's day got worse when he found the comic book store to be burned out. Stuart was saving what can still be salvaged. Sheldon then tells him how his day was the worst when everything was changing. He left then a little bit later Raj and Howard came by and that's when Stuart got offered the job of taking care of Mrs. Wolowitz.

Amy dropped by Leonard's apartment to find out that Sheldon wasn't there yet. Of course, they all got worried. A little while later, Leonard tracked him down and found out that he's at the train station. Together with Penny, they came to get Sheldon. But, he wanted to get on a train and leave forever and he also said that he needed to get away and think since everything was changing.

Leonard didn't want him to go because he was worried that Sheldon can't take care of himself. Penny then told him that they should let him go for he can't protect him forever. He agreed and told Sheldon that he will miss him. Sheldon replied, "Of course you will."

Will Sheldon come back to be a changed man? Or will this breaking point make him leave forever?
