It may not be obvious with his well-sculpted body structure but the 22 Jump Street loves to eat. He is a self-confessed foodie. In fact, he is largely obsessed with cakes, specifically confetti cakes. He shares, "I just love cake. Confetti cake, to be specific. It has little colored candies inside the cake, and then you get the confetti icing, which is really hard to find sometimes. It's really hard to explain to people, because it's noticing with sprinkles on top. It's icing that actually has candies inside of it. It's Funfetti icing." The hunk says that the icing and the actual confetti cake make the perfect match. His obsession over cakes could have accounted for his 25 to 30 pounds excess beyond his target weight.

Another obsession the hunk has confession is his alcohol problem. He usually ends a day with a bottle of wine or a glass of bourbon. He admits, "I probably drink too much, you know. My wife, that's what she bought into. I'm probably a pretty high-functioning, I guess, you know, I would say, alcoholic, I guess."

Tatum attributed his fascination with alcohol to its soothing effects. He likes how it calms and relaxes his mind. Alcohol serves as his way to escape. Tatum even said, "I definitely equate it to having a good time."
