Lindsay Lohan News 2014: Lindsay Lohan $150k to settle her lawsuit against a clothing company. The Mean Girl actress will not be forced to discuss her miscarriage in court after she resolved a legal conflict with a clothing manufacturer.
TMZ reported that according to new legal docs, Lindsay's clothing label 6126 struck the settlement agreement this week with D.N.A.M. Apparel Industries, the company she sued last year for $1.1 million.
The actress claimed that the clothing company failed to pay her hundreds of thousands of dollars for licensing her 6126 trademark for international clothing sales. A countersuit was made by D.N.A.M. Apparel insisting the former film star's bad reputation made it impossible to sell the merchandise.
Lohan is named as a defendant in a lawsuit brought against her former leggings company, 6126 leggings, by their former partners. D.N.A.M. served Lohan papers in the case "over the Christmas and New Year's holidays," according to papers obtained by Radar, but she never responded and a court found her in default. And so, she brought her sob story for the judge asking for more time to file her response.
Lohan's court documents cited her miscarriage as one of the reasons she failed to respond to their $5m legal action, which she lost last year. She had previously refusing to be questioned in court after making a sworn statement that she had a miscarriage, the Daily Mail reported.
"I have been overwhelmed since leaving rehab and dealing with my sobriety and a miscarriage," Lohan's document says.
According to TMZ, Lohan says she suffered a miscarriage during the taping of her reality show. During the final episode of her own show Sunday night, she was asked to reflect on her experience with the reality show.
"No one knows this, I had a miscarriage for those two weeks that I took off," she said.
"It's a very long story, but that's why on the show when it says she doesn't want to come down, I couldn't move, I was sick. Mentally, that messes with you," she continued.
Lohan did not identify the father of the said child.
