Anna Kendrick is famous for ‘Cups’ but she also makes other movies than ‘Pitch Perfect.’ The ‘Cups’ singer gets drunk and laid in the new Joe Swanberg directed movie, ‘Happy Christmas.’

This is the second time Kendrick is starring in a Swanberg film, after a supporting role in ‘Drinking Buddies.’ This time, ‘Happy Christmas’ has Kendrick in the main role.

‘Happy Christmas’ is about the following, “When Jenny (Anna Kendrick), a hard partying 20-something, moves in with Kelly (Melanie Lynskey), a budding novelist, her film director husband Joe Swanberg, and their two-year-old son, after a break up, the family’s idyllic life is shaken. Jenny begins a rocky relationship with their baby sitter-cum-pot dealer Mark Webber, and she and a friend, Carson (Lena Dunham), bring Kelly to the realization that an evolution in her life, career and relationship is necessary for her happiness. A new comedy from the director of DRINKING BUDDIES.”

Joe Swanberg, Melanie Lynskey, Mark Webber, Lena Dunham, and baby Jude Swanberg also star in the indie dramedy.

The film, which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival, will be released by Magnolia Pictures on VOD on June 26th and in limited theaters on July 25.

Kendrick recently spoke to Fast Company about how she enjoys using Twitter.

The ‘Pitch Perfect’ actress said, "Sometimes when I try to make jokes or have a sense of humor in interviews, it doesn't go over very well," she says. "But Twitter made my life easier in this way that I didn't expect. It would have taken probably 10 times as long for people to accept my voice and my sense of humor if I didn't have Twitter."

Kendrick posts a ton of hilarious tweets, such as, “The little girl with the wine stained teeth in this Game of Thrones episode is sooo creep--okay that's a mirror.”
