Jessica Chastain's boyfriend Gian Luca Passi De Preposulo has been all over Cannes with the 'Zero Dark Thirty' Actress.
Jessica Chastain, 37, leaned on her boyfriend as they attended a photo call for her film 'The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby' at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 18) in Cannes, France.
Gian Luca Passi De Preposulo, 31, is a Italian fashion executive who works for French label Moncler, according to PopSugar. The two have been dating for a while, and according to Us Weekly are "getting serious."
The 'Zero Dark Thirty' actress was joined at the event by her 'The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby' co-stars James McAvoy and Jess Weixler, as well as director Ned Benson.
'The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby' event was less of a work event but a reunion of sorts. Chastain and Weixler are friends from when they both studied at Juilliard, and Chastain and Benson met long before she became a star for her work in 'Zero Dark Thirty.'
Chastain had previously attended the Berlin Film Festival with Weixler when the 'Good Wife' actress had a film, Teeth, in the fest.
"Jess is like my sister in real life," Chastain said to the Hollywood Reporter. "She went to the Berlin Film Festival, and I went to the festival with her, and I carried her coat on the red carpet and supported her."
She added that Weixler did the same for her, support-wise, saying "When I came here for Tree of Life, she videotaped me on the red carpet."
Chastain said about her director friend Benson, "I've always thought he was a beautiful writer." She revealed that she, Benson and Weixler even lived together in Santa Monica when they were beginning their careers.
James McAvoy, who plays the male lead in 'The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby,' says as he was new to the group, "I just had to ram-road myself in there like a bull in a China shop."
