Apple WWDC 2014 schedule has been released. The Worldwide Developers Conference is a major conference for Apple watchers in the industry.

The gathering of experts in the industry will convene on June 2 and end on June 6 at Moscone West, San Francisco. The location is where Apple unveils the firm's latest iOS and OS X software updates.

The keynote address is scheduled for June 2 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. Since there is no mention of who will deliver the keynote, rest assured that Tim Cook will play a major lead during the keynote address. Cook has won a number of humanitarian awards and was invited to his Alma Mater to give a speech. He has a reputation of a down-to-earth individual who has introduced technology to those on the other side of the digital divide.

Apple has not outed the names of those will take the stage, the keynote address is a highly viewed speech that will set the stage for what comes next for Apple.

Many Apple watchers will get a peak at iOS 8, Apple's new OS, and the next version of OS X.

According to 9to5Mac, Apple WWDC 2014 is all about new hardware. Perhaps, in this case Apple has little choice because neither the touted iWatch or the highly anticipated iPhone 6 are ready for release. However, an announcement about the iWatch could be a possibility at the Apple WWDC 2014.

That would make sense. In the past, Apple would take advantage of the turnout at WWDC to show off new hardware - including the Retina MacBook Pro and the new Mac Pro. In fact, the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 were all revealed during WWDC keynotes.

Apple has delayed its launch schedule to include its iPhone launch in the fall - better not to expect an iPhone 6 since rumors and reports say that it will be targeted toward the holiday shopping ahead of the Christmas season. However, you might get some info about a MacBook Pro that will lead to an update (or a new Retina MacBook Air?).

Of course, WWDC is more than just a conference for the keynote. Its also a major developer conference. Apple has made the WWDC 2014 session schedule viewable to the public but there is very little information on software, including iOS 8.

With the session topics and descriptions sealed, Apple will let attendees know about the various discussions and descriptions following June 2.

Apple will also be updating its official WWDC iOS apps, reports Mashable.
