Fans of the 27-year old actress can't wait to find out who will be Lea Michele's new boyfriend. After Corey Monteith died from a drug overdose last July, some people think that it is about time that she moves on and be happy with her life.
However, a close friend revealed that Lea isn't ready to date someone because she is still dealing with the loss of the late actor. Her pal told Hollywood Life, "She just wants someone to have fun with." I guess the perfect person to do that is with John Mayer, who has been romantically linked with famous women in the past.
But her friend doesn't approve of the 36-year old singer and said: "She isn't about to give her heart away to someone like him." We all know that John Mayer is a real heartbreaker having dumped many famous women in the past, including Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston, Taylor Swift, and most recently Katy Perry.
John Mayer's next target is the lead star of "Glee". Do you think he will pass as Lea Michele's new boyfriend? According to reports, the musician has been texting the actress nonstop. A source told Star, "John's had a crush on Lea for a while." The insider added, "He is constantly telling her how beautiful and talented she is."
Lea is a smart girl so she knows who would be good for her. If John is really serious about winning her heart, then he needs to change his attitude which includes giving up on booze and drugs as well as women.
In a separate report, Lea admitted that he once dated Matthew Morrison, who plays their choir director in "Glee". According to Us Weekly, Michele wrote some revelations on her new book entitled "Brunette Ambition".
She wrote, "When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colfer for the first time." She added, "I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat."
