WWDC 2014 rumors are picking up pace as the first day of the developers conference approaches on June 2. The iPhone maker is keeping mum on what's about to happen at the WWDC 2014, while rumors refer mostly to Kobe Bryant and Dr. Dre jumping on board the Apple family and the touted iWatch and updated Apple TV coming to fruition.

Reports say that the most likely news that could turn from a rumor into a reality is Dr. Dre and the Beats Audio joining Apple. By adding Beats by Dre headphones and earbuds to Apple's ipods and iPhones, might be something appealing for Apple watchers, since the Cupertino firm has specialized in smart devices like the iPhone, the iPad and the iPad mini.

Kobe Bryant of the LA Lakers was seen on the Cupertino campus leading to rumors of him leaving the Lenovo camp to join in Apple's iWatch efforts with Nike. Even CEO Tim Cook has been trying out Nike's fitness band to ascertain how it all works.

Also in the rumor mill is the iPhone 6 expected to be released in the Fall. Any news of the iPhone 6 would encouraging for fans, particularly for those waiting for an upgrade and looking around for rivals like Samsung S5, HTC One M8 among others. Along with the release date, folks at the developers conference would also be curious about the price, which hopefully would be somewhere around the newly released Samsung Galaxy.

The most predictable hardware that is gaining traction for a new release is the Macbook Pro Air with Retina. Apple is also expected to unveil the iOSX 10.10 update, and the iOS 8 for iPhone and iPad.

New iPads to replace the iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display are expected to be unveiled as the year progresses along with a coupled iWatch plus the ubiquitous iPhone 4.

"iOS 8 is the next version of Apple's iPhone and iPad software that should arrive later this year as a free update to most iPhone and iPad devices with new features and bug fixes. In June 2014 we will see the future of iOS at the Apple WWDC 2014 event, which is when the public will get the first official look at the new iOS 8 update and an iOS 8 beta will likely be announced."
