The first major DLC has finally arrived to the brand new MMORPG, Elder Scrolls Online. The major content pack called Craglorn, has been rumoured for a short while now and it is finally out.

For starters, it gives the Elder Scrolls Online an Adventure Zone that is packed with brand new missions. This will deeply influence the game's storyline. Also, Craglorn will enable players to participate in 12 player Trials that will offer better items and gold. The catch is that the enemies are stronger and more dangerous than before.

Craglorn, according to Bethesda, promises to be the first adventure zone for The Elder Scrolls Online, and will feature content geared towards high-level players.

The area will feature its own mystery, revolving around constellations that have gone missing from the sky, and the townsfolk will talk about rumours of celestial beings that are probably up to no good.

"There's a lot of different monsters we throw at you and, of course, there are boss monsters that have interesting tactics you haven't encountered anywhere in the game before," said creative director Paul Sage in a trailer for the new content.

The most exciting feature to come is the new Death Recap System. This is really helpful as players can look back and see how they died. This new feature also reveals the killer. Of course, these are the few of many things in Craglorn.

Even when being something really new, Zenimax has already commenced development for the next major update. It is reported that the game developer's next plan for Elder Scrolls Online involves something that has to do with the Veteran Dungeon Crypt of Hearts.

According to GameSpot last March, Bethesda marketing man Pete Hines defended the $14.99 monthly subscription charge for The Elder Scrolls Online, saying it will allow for "significant" updates that are more than just the odd "funny hat."
