Emily Thorne has spent her whole life seeking revenge for the tragedies that happened to her in the past. Fans saw how she seeks revenge for her father. However, spoilers hinted that she will get on in a new type of vengeance in the Revenge Season 4 which will likely to have a September 2014 premier according to rumors.

Reportedly, a different kind of Emily's wrath will be seen to avenge Aiden's untimely death.

"We thought the best thing to do is make [Emily] understand what revenge is in a very different way. It's one thing when you are a young girl and you lose your father and you have this idealistic sense of who he was and therefore you might idealize the sense of what you have to do to get him justice, but when you lose the man that you love, the love of your life with whom you plan on spending your life at the hand of the woman you hate more than anybody, it's a much more mature kind of anger that I think will inform how Emily will go about doing what she does in season four differently," Sunil Nayar, executive producer of Revenge, told E!

Meanwhile, Hollywood Hills reported that Victoria's character will go darker. This is brought about by her confinement in a mental hospital against her will.

In a recent interview with TVLine, Nayar reveals their plans for Emily and Victoria, saying, "As we go into Season 4, Victoria will not only feel a sense of anger and revenge in regards to what happened to Pascal, but she essentially created this young woman, so there's also a comeuppance."

Christian Today reported that David Clarke (James Tupper) will make a comeback next season, which means that he is alive and Aiden is not. Emily will have to take a step back and think over her plans.

There is no official announcement made regarding the release date of "Revenge" Season 4. At the moment the September date is more speculation worked off from the premiere dates of past seasons.
