It is showering games every month for players on the PS Plus as Sony is keeping their promise to giveaway free titles to each and every one of their platform. We are days away from June now and things got exciting as gamers can't wait to see the surprises in store for them.
PS3 in particular, will be getting NBA 2K14 and Lone Survivor. The latter is a must-try as it has achieved so much praises. As for the PS Vita, gamers can look forward to slash enemies in Dragon's Crown.
Finally is PS4. Gamers on the PS Plus for this next-gen console will be treated with PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate. This might not sound exciting but it is free. Gamers might as well give it a shot.
Compared to all the previous months, June is much more of a 'meh' than a 'woah'. There is one great thing to look out for and it is with Battlefield 4 that will be enjoying 20hours of game time for free.
According to IGN, there are other changes too. A post on the PS Blog explains that, starting in July, games will be available for slightly less time, from the first Wednesday of the month right up until the first Wednesday of the following month. Sony justifies this by explaining most gamers are downloading the titles right away, but in effect this means you may not have access to as many titles on PS3 as you once did.
"Since we are always looking to continue the evolution of PS Plus as a service that really serves our community, we are excited to provide a more balanced set of games each month within the Instant Game Collection," it reads. "As you'll see below, starting in June, members will now have access to two titles per month for each of our platforms.
"Since we've seen how excited many of you are to download Instant Game Collection titles as soon as they're available, we've decided to adjust the length of time each title will be available. Starting in July, every title in the Instant Game Collection will be available the first Wednesday of the month, and will be free for that month, until the first Wednesday of the following month."
