Bad news gaming fans, the release date for The Last of US: Remastered is not on June 13.
IGN reports that the whole June 13 release date for the Last of Us: Remastered was nothing more than a hoax as several evidences where revealed below.
IGN called a local GameStop retailer in San Francisco to clarify if the information was legitimate. It turns out that they had no information regarding release date of The Last Us: Remastered on June 13.
According to reports form Gamespot, Sony has debunked the speculation and made a statement surrounding the blunder.
"The release date is not June 13," said a Sony representative to GameSpot.
"As we've announced, The Last of Us Remastered for PS4 will release this summer," adds Sony. "We will keep you posted on an official release date."
Sony has had a rough time keeping its The Last of Us announcements under wraps, with the PlayStation Store accidentally revealing both the release date of Left Behind DLC and the PS4 version of the game earlier this year.
