Carrie Underwood is hard at work writing her newest album, but the 31-year-old 'Blown Away' singer told Us Weekly that she will make it a point to spend time with husband Mike Fisher this summer.
Underwood said about writing her new album, "That whole creative process is such a weird thing. I get jacked up on caffeine and go to write. Then I come home and crash with a glass of wine."
Her husband, Mike Fisher, a hockey player with the Nashville Predators, said that he leaves his wife of four years to play out her creative process. "I try to stay out of her way!"
Underwood, who recently debuted her duet "Somethin' Bad" with Miranda Lambert, at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards and will also perform the country song at CMT Music Awards in Nashville at 8 p.m. ET on June 5.
Lambert recently gifted Underwood a motorcycle. Underwood tweeted a photo of the bike, with the caption, "Well, it's not every day @mirandalambert buys you a motorcycle!" she tweeted. "Next stop, motorcycle driving lessons!!! #RansTheBest."
The 'Automatic' singer explained on Good Morning America why she gave her country music star friend her hot new ride.
Lambert said, "She was wanting a motorcycle and I wanted to get her something for all the work she's put in, singing on the record, doing the performances. I was like, 'OK, you've got to learn how to drive this thing. Don't blame it on me!' She's been practicing, so I can't wait."
Lambert also admitted she was intimidated to record a song with the 'American Idol' winner, but the duet partners killed their recent 2014 Billboard Music Awards performance.
'Somethin' Bad' can be heard on Lambert's new album 'Platinum,' which was released yesterday, June 3.
Underwood now has motorcycle to remember the fun times she had working with Lambert, who said, "She's gonna look hot on that thing."
