Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi divorce rumors continue despite strong denial from the pair. According to Classicalite, the duo has been battling buzzes that they are ready to split-up "due to allegations of cheating and ugly alcohol abuse." Reportedly, there has been a circulating speculation that DeGeneres promised to let De Rossi get pregnant and have baby, if de Rossi promised not to split.

In an interview with People last February, DeGeneres addressed their rumoured shaky relationship. She said, "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. It's what anyone experiences when you find that person that gets you, wants to take care of you, wants the best for you. We're really lucky because we know how rare it is."

Tales about their divorce are contradicted by reports that the duo are planning to renew their wedding vows in Sydney.

Gay Star News reported that according to OK Magazine, DeGeneres and De Rossi "want to show their commitment to each other" and help push for same-sex marriage Australia, de Rossi's home country.

''[They] are looking to do something on or around August 16, their sixth wedding anniversary, in Portia's home country of Australia. They want it to be in Sydney because the city has a big gay population, and they want to help spur the acceptance of same-sex marriage,'' an insider told the magazine.

"There have been a lot of headlines suggesting that their relationship is in trouble. They want to quash them," the insider added.

DeGeneres and De Rossi tied the knot in August 2008 after four years of dating. They married at their Los Angeles home in front of just 19 guests. According to Examiner, this time around would be in front of more people and more publicly orchestrated. Renewing their vows will also confirm the strength of their marriage.
