One of Sony Xperia Z2's most impressive aspects was the 5.2-inches display packed full of detail, making for a great experience for touchscreen phone users. According to Know Your Mobile, it has full HD 1080p resolution and powered by Qualcomm's new quad- core Snapdragon 801 processor running at 2.3GHz assisted by 3GB of RAM.

The Digital Trends reported that the Full HD Triluminos (LCD) screen uses the same Live Color LED technology introduced on the Xperia Tablet Z2, promising brighter more natural colors, and improved legibility in sunlight.

Reportedly, a massive 3200mAh battery is stuffed inside the water and dust proof chassis, which measures 8.2mm thick.

According to The Inquirer, Xperia Z2 has a slimmer and more comfortable feel which measured just 8.2mm thick. Sony is well-known for its premium build quality, and the Z2 has been crafted from aluminum and glass. The edges of the device are squared off to make a rectangular handset with slightly curved corners whereas the sides of the phone have panelled edging with metal sides. The headphone jack is on the top left, and on the right edge there's a flap which users can open to reveal the USB slot and SIM card slot. On the opposite side there's the microSD slot underneath another flap, with the power button just below it, followed by a thin volume rocker.

Xperia Z2 battery is tested by Know Your Mobile by turning up the brightness to full, turning Wi-Fi and mobile data on and running a long film to see how far the battery can run down. It's the perfect test for the Xperia Z2 considering it's designed to play video and look great whilst doing it. A film clocking in just under 2 hours and 40 minutes long can leave 72% of battery.

A 20.7- megapixel camera using the Exmor RS sensor, an f/2.0 aperture and sensor size at 1/2.3". Sony's G Lens setup is fitted to the back, and it can record 4K video in full HD at 3840x2160.
