Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin appear to be one of the most harmonious separated couple in Hollywood. Reportedly, despite announcing that they are "consciously uncoupling", Martin and Paltrow have remained not only close friends and devoted parents, but also regular dining buddies. According to Daily Mail, the pair was spotted chuckling together "like a romantic couple as they sat close together eating a meal at Malibu Farm, in California."
In a photo shown by Radar Online, the pair, sitting side-by-side, seemed to be looking at something on the actress' cell phone with slight grins on their faces as they enjoyed a meal.
The two have announced that they were calling it quits in March, but it seems like the two have been closer than ever since consciously "uncoupling." The duo made it clear when they revealed they were splitting that they were doing so on good terms, saying, "We have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."
According to Huffington Post, since the breakup, Martin is thought to have felt less stressed about his and Gwyneth's relationship, and therefore seen his marriage in a new light.
"Gwyneth and Chris always vowed to stay friends for their children when they split, but they have been getting on better than ever in the last few weeks. After they announced they were splitting up, all the pressure was off and Chris has really enjoyed spending time with Gwyneth," an insider revealed to British magazine Grazia.
"We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate. We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been," the couple wrote in a statement on Gwyneth's lifestyle website GOOP.
Paltrow, 41, and Martin, 37, are parents to 10-year-old daughter Apple and eight-year-old son Moses.
