Coming from a recent stint in jail, Chris Brown Album "X" is hard at work in the studio trying to finish off his upcoming album, which a source told HollywoodLife.com is "do or die for him."

Now that Chris Brown, 25, has been released from jail as of June 2, he is back where he belongs - in the studio, working on X, which is set for a 2014 release, though the exact date is unknown. "This will be his comeback album and it's do or die for him," a source close to Chris has revealed.

"He's been in the studio constantly, finishing up his album," the source revealed. "He's been arranging which tracks will go on there, plus some others that he wrote when he was [in jail] is making its way on the album."

However, which tracks will end up on the album are being kept as hush-hush as its release date. Chris is "keeping the rest of the tracks that haven't been released yet on the DL, and just focusing on working on it and not rushing it.

"He's not trying to say too much about it because he doesn't want to jinx himself if it's not a hot album," our source continued. "On the other hand, he wants to keep everyone in mystery about it so they can be really anxious to get it when he drops it."

Makes sense! Chris released "Loyal" on Dec. 2013, and it received rave reviews, as did the single before that, "Love More," released July 16, 2013 (pictured above). We can only imagine that X will be similarly well-received, but considering the negative press surrounding him since his rehab stint and parole violation, the music may get clouded by issues in his personal life.
