Dana White recently spoke about Chael Sonnen and believes that there is no point for "The American Gangster" to make a UFC comeback and says that he will question the fighter's motives if he decides to return.

The UFC President made his statements in the most recent media scrum leading to the UFC 174 event in Vancouver, Canada.

"He retired," White told the media. "If Chael came back to me and said he wants to fight again I'd go, 'Dude, why?' The offers that this guy gets every day for stuff, he couldn't possibly do everything that he gets offered."

Dana White's statements about Chael Sonnen came after "The American Gangster's" announcement that he will be retiring from professional mixed martial arts competition this past week, after failing a drug test conducted by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The drug test was in preparation for one of the main card bouts for UFC 175, which is scheduled to take place on July 5th, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

"The American Gangster" was originally slated to face Wanderlei Silva, after the two fighters coached against each other in the most recent installment of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil. But due to "The Axe Murderer's" refusal to take the test, Vitor Belfort was put in as his last minute replacement.

But due to the failed drug test and the fighter's decision to retire, the UFC decided to take the fight out of the UFC 175 card.

On the other hand, Dana White also deemed a Chael Sonnen comeback pointless, adding that the outspoken UFC fighter already "went out on his own terms."

"He's like, 'I'm gonna choose my personal health,'" White added. "There's no way. I just don't see it happening. What makes sense other than Wanderlei [Silva]? And Wanderlei's gonna be gone for a long time."
