New developments has surfaced regarding Kingdom Hearts 3 as new plot details are added in the game.
According to reports from MotoringCrunch.com, Kingdom Hearts 3 have some sort of time travel plot. The game starts in the ending were in the Keyblade warriors will have their last battle with the new Organization XIII as Sora travels back in time earlier into the fight.
Gaming news site AUTOMOBILE delves deeper into the plot as Sora realized that the chances of victory are slim and must improvised and looked for other ways to end the war once and for all.
He chooses to travel back in time to the previous final battle, thinking it might be easier to end the war. Sora travels even further wherein he stops Keyblade Wars from ever happening in the first place.
Sora may also encounter a young Master Xenahort roaming on Destiny Island. He will find the source of the darkness within Xenahort and convince him to stay good. Further details hinted that the Xehonort clones are actually the "Lost Masters" that are mentioned in the teaser trailer of Kingdom Hearts 3.
As history is changed, Sora got thrown back into the "real" timeline. He woke up on the beach where it all began with no memories of his adventures from other worlds.
Meanwhile, Final Fantasy XIII characters Vanille and Fang are rumored to join the game as an alleged Kingdom Hearts Facebook fan page hinted that Square Enix may add Vanille and Fang as "guardians of the timeline" and may join Sora's party when needed.
KH Insider recently conducted an interview on Kingdom Hearts co-creator Tai Yasue regarding the teaser for Kingdom Hearts 3 and new information about the game.
"Although the footage may change, KINGDOM HEARTS III will be about those words from the start of the game. It's a secret, but as for whom is speaking, you may be able to pin down immediately from the figures seen."
He further adds,
"I can't say for sure but a portion of it has been set in stone. When creating a KINGDOM HEARTS game, the storyline must usually be completely determined; how it will play and its system will be quickly developed simultaneously. New information is expected to be released soon as soon as we're ready. Please stay tuned!"
