Marvel fans have been talking about the "X-Men Days of Future Past" after credits scene because they were trying to figure out who that pale-skinned hooded guy was. Comic book junkies definitely know who that is and he is no other than Apocalypse.

If you listen carefully, you will hear the followers chanting "En Sabah Nur" which is the name of the 5,000-year old mutant when he was still human. That clearly gives away who that character was and you can spot the four horsemen in the scene as well.

When Nur was still a young boy, he realized through enslavement that the world is all about survival. Due to his powers, he gained prominence and was worshipped by the Clan Akkaba and they were probably the followers that was shown in the "X-Men Days of Future Past' after credits.

During an interview with IGN, film producer Simon Kinberg revealed why they chose that particular scene. He said, "The post-credit sequence is a tease into what will be the Apocalypse movie."

Kinberg explained, "Now the Apocalypse you see...that young boy...may not be the actor who plays the character in our movie. It's a deep back story glimpse into the character, but our movie doesn't take place in ancient Egypt and will likely not star a young boy Apocalypse."

The "X-Men Days of Future Past" after credits scene could be just a preview of how powerful and strong Apocalypse is. Could this mean that he is stronger than the Sentinels? We all know that the mutants don't stand a chance against the robots. They would have been wiped out if Wolverine wasn't able to alter the past.

Simon Kinberg revealed to IGN what people can expect from Apocalypse. He said, "The thing that we've spent the most time talking about is not just the visual execution of the character, which is its own challenge, creating a character that's the most powerful I think of any mutant villain that we've seen in the X-Men movies so far."

He added, "More powerful than Magneto. The kind of scope and scale we're talking about is like disaster movie, extinction level event. Sort of Roland Emmerich-style moviemaking, which you've never seen in an X-Men movie, or any superhero movie, which I think is exciting."

Did the "X-Men Days of Future Past" after credits scene get you all excited? Do you think the X-Men can beat the Apocalypse?
