Which is the better mobile device for consumers and gadget enthusiast to use? We pit the HTC One Max versus the Samsung Galaxy S4 to see which gadget is user friendly.

In terms of design and display, the HTC One Max is the first phablet from HTC, and it comes with a massive display of 5.9 inches, which is a Super LCD3 screen that renders a resolution of 1,080×1,920pixels, the same resolution supported by the 5inches Super AMOLED screen of the Samsung Galaxy S4. In terms of OS and hardware, the HTC One Max is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Krait 300 processor and the chipset is Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon 600. The two variants of internal memories: 16 and GB can be expanded up to 64GB. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has a quad-core 1.6GHz Cortex A15 and another quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex A7 processor, while the chipset is Exynos 5 Octa 5410. It has three variants of internal memories: 16 and 32GB expandable up to 64GB and a 64GB variant.

Both of these devices are Androids and run on the Jelly Bean version with 2GBof RAM. The HTC One Max has a 4Ultrapixel rear-camera and a 2.1MP front-camera, while the S4 has a 13MP rear-camera and a 2MP front-camera.

For battery usage and longevity, you can talk 25hours, on 3G, on the HTC One Max, which has a non-removable Li-Po battery with a capacity of 3,300mAh. As for the Samung Galaxy S4, its battery has a capacity of 2,600mAh, which allows you to talk 17hours, on 3G.

HTC One Max 16GB, 4G, LTE variant costs 600 dollars on amazon.com while the Samsung Galaxy S4 16 GB variant costs 430 dollars.
