Catherine Zeta-Jones hot wife of Michael Douglas had just been dragged into a new controversy. According to The Sun, a British news website, Douglas had just admitted to taking Zeta-Jones "for granted" during their years of marriage.
On the bright side, reports say that the actor now recognizes his mistake. He said, "First, you have to admit that you made a mistake, then dealing with it is easy. Of course, it's important to make mistakes, as long as you grow from them."
The 69-year-old actor spoke to The Sun at a certain event where Jane Fonda, a close friend of his, was honored. Zeta-Jones went him to the event's venue in New York City.
Douglas during a speech, "When you're older, you focus that energy on the people closest to you, on your family." This would be his subtle hints of the marital problems that the couple may have had in the past brought about by his tendencies to take his hot and loving wife for granted. He mentioned in his speech that he used to take the person "closest [to him] for granted."
His biggest mistake that was extremely hurtful in all aspects was when he implied that his wife's private regions gave him a life-threatening illness. He shocked thousands and raised a lot of eyebrows when he commented that oral sex gave him cancer. He informed an interviewer in June of 2013 that he contacted HPV or human papillomavirus through cunnilingus. Realizing his mistake a little too late, he back-pedaled and asserted that whatever he said did not come out right and that it was not what he meant to deliver. Two months later, reports said that the couple was "taking a break."
After this awful display, it was reported that Douglas was trying his hardest to win Zeta-Jones back. A source even indicated that he would make pancakes for Zeta-Jones every single day. Well, it would seem that whatever he did had worked since the couple is now reunited.
