At the press conference for "Trot Lovers," Ji Hyun Woo told fans that he will not appear in any shower scenes in that drama.

The actor, who was recently discharged from the military, said that he would not show off his post army body in any kind of topless scenes.

"It was too tough to shape up my body," he said. "So I will definitely not be going topless."

But the actor said he did lose weight in preparation for the drama as he gained weight during his 21 months of military duty.

"When I was in the army, I weighed up to 86 kilograms (189 pounds)," he said. "But when I was trying to lose weight, I also lost fat from my face. I heard people say that I was too skinny."

He said that when he loses weight, he also loses fat from his face, so that's why fans might think he is too skinny. The actor was 70 kilograms (154 pounds) when he debuted and was now 78 kilograms (171 pounds).

Although fans can't expect a shower scene with Ji Hyun Woo in "Trot Lovers," they can expect a story that is both musical and romantic. The story of "Trot Lovers" is similar to the story in the film "A Star Is Born," which has been remade several times.

In "Trot Lovers," as in "A Star Is Born," a talented young singer meets a well-known genius musician and with his help becomes a star. Then her fame eclipses his. In the original story this has a negative effect on characters' relationship. Whether they work things out in the k-drama version remains to be seen.

Ji Hyun Woo plays Jang Jun Hyun, the arrogant musician who hates trot music. A Pink's Jung Eun Ji plays Choi Chun Hee, the young woman who dreams of becoming a trot singer.

Shin Sung Rok, last seen as the villain in "You Who Came From The Stars," will play Jo Geun Woo, the CEO of an entertainment agency. He's also the man who forms a love triangle with Jung Eun Ji and Ji Hyun Woo's characters. The drama also stars Lee Se Young as a talented trainee singer.

"Trot Lovers" follows "Big Man" on June 23.

The actor was discharged from active duty on May 6 and this drama is his first post-army project. His last drama was "Queen Inhyun's Man" with co-star Yoo In Na.
