Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield pull yet another stunt in front of the paparazzi, this time for a worthwhile cause.
"The Amazing Spiderman" co-stars are one of the hottest couples in Hollywood, and to their credit, they're taking advantage of the attention, all for the right reasons. Photographers came and waited for them to leave a New York café Tuesday, and they went out hiding behind cards with scribbled messages.
The couple held up hand-written signs to their faces. Stone's note read: "Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, let's try this again. We don't need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do..." with an arrow pointing to Garfield's message.
Garfield's message listed several organizations for a cause. "www.youthmentoring.org, www.autismspeaks.org, (and don't forget:) www.wwo.org, www.gildasclubnyc.org. Here's to the stuff that matters. Have a good day!" (celebuzz.com)
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield pulled a similar stunt in 2012, holding up signs to promote Worldwide Orphans and Gilda's Club, as paparazzi stalked them strolling the New York streets. The couple has been dating since 2011, and their roles in "The Amazing Spiderman" cemented their status as a hot Hollywood item.
The couple is very public with their relationship, especially in displays of affection. They even have confirmed pet names: "Em" for Emma and "Garfy" for Andrew. The two just finished a promotional tour for "The Amazing Spiderman 2," which included London, Paris, and Rome in the itinerary.
The couple's on-screen and real-life romance is candid. An L.A. source confides: "They almost seem to be in their own world when they spend time together. They have the kind of loving chemistry that makes other people jealous." (people.com)
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield recently guested at The Jimmy Fallon Show, where the actress performed a show-stopping performance with the host at a lip-sync battle. Garfield gushed at Emma's performance, and likely hinted at the current state of their relationship: "She's just magic."
