Aside from the news that the Flash TV series pilot episode is going to be screened at the San Diego Comic Con 2014, it was recently hinted at by writer Geoff Johns that long time Flash villain, Captain Cold is going to appear on the first season of The Flash TV series. Geoff Johns tweeted "Great day talking story with @AJKreisberg and @GBerlanti in #TheFlash writers room. But it got a little cold." To which Ed Boon (Maker of the Mortal Kombat and Injustice: Gods Among Us video games) replied "I hear u Captain."
