While promoting "Transformers: Age of Extinction", Mark Wahlberg spilled out some "Entourage" movie spoilers. The cast and crew have finished filming the film adaption of the popular HBO series, but there are still several months before it gets released to the public.
Vincent Chase, Ari Gold, Eric Murphy, Johnny "Drama" Chase, and Turtle will hit the big screen on June 12, 2015. In an interview with Access Hollywood, film producer Mark Wahlberg admitted that he have already watched the movie.
He said, "'Entourage,' I just saw the movie." The 43-year old actor exclaimed, "It's fantastic." I'm sure hearing that got you all excited, especially if you're a huge fan of the television series. The first episode of the "Entourage" was aired on July 18, 2004.
The HBO series continued to delight the viewers with their hilarious real-life Hollywood situations and numerous celebrity guests. After 8 seasons, the "Entourage" decided to bid farewell to their fans on September 11, 2011.
After three years, many people were happy to hear some "Entourage" movie spoilers, which confirmed the news that Mark Wahlberg and Doug Ellin will be bringing back the boys - not on TV but on the big screen.
The "Ted" star told Access Hollywood, "The stakes are so big. You're rooting for these guys to succeed. There's so much humor and heart in it." Wahlberg added, "And [director] Doug [Ellin] just did an amazing job."
The executive producer of the popular HBO series even admitted that he wanted the opening to be moved at an earlier date. Wahlberg said, "I don't think we're going to be able to wait a year to release the movie. We're going to show the studio sooner, rather than later."
However, he explained that "If it makes most sense to wait until June, we'll wait until June." Mark Wahlberg was so confident about the HBO film that he spilled out more "Entourage" movie spoilers.
There could be a sequel on its way and will start the production even before the "Entourage" movie comes out. Wahlberg said, "I told Doug, 'Let's not wait for the movie to come out to start planning the next one because this is definitely going to be a big success.'"
