The Raid: Redemption has been one of the anticipated martial arts thriller movies today. Lately, The Raid 2: Berandal (in English: Thug) has been released last March 2014 in Indonesia and in the USA. It was released on January 21, 2014 for Sundance Festival, while for the rest of the countries, it will be available soon.
Although, the The Raid 2 is still fresh, many moviegoers who watched it are now looking forward to Raid 3.
From the report of Total Film, The Raid 3 will take place two hours before the end of The Raid 2. Last April 19, 2014, Metro Interview with Gareth Evans, the director revealed that he is planning to take a break from martial arts movies for two or three years before the said film done.
However, the director didn't give any hint about the The Raid 3. When he was asked what's his favorite scene, he answered quickly, the kitchen fight (source Mirror.co.uk), while Iko Uwais (he played Rama in The Raid) favorite scene is the car chase.
In Raid 2: Redemption, Rama will undercover with the thugs of Jakarta. His mission is to bring down the syndicate and uncover the corruption within his police force. He will undergo training but he should be arrested.

Another villain that performs brutally in the movie is "Baseball Bat Boy"
The Raid has been compared to Dredd movie many times in Screenrant. Although Dredd's script had been done before 'The Raid' premiered, the Indonesian film still gained a lot of positive reviews from film critiques and moviegoers.
