Android 4.4.4 KitKat Problems: Android 4.4.4 KitKat update has begun rolling out to India. Currently, Android 4.4.4. is rolling-out OTA (over-the-air) to Nexus mobile devices and Nexus 5 handsets in India will be the first candidate to steam out previous Android 4.4.3 update problems.

The Andrid 4.4.4 KitKat problems and fixes are related to security-specific issues, especially problems linked to an OpenSSL bug. The Nexus 5 update website reads, ""The software update will upgrade your Nexus 5 to 4.4.4, which improves performance, security, stability and fixes bugs."

Would you believe Android 4.4.4 KitKat problems are fixed by a Google update that is as miniscule as 2.5MB - less than the RAM on some smartphones. Another piece of trivia to keep in mind is that the Android 4.4.4 KitKat is an incremental upgrade from the 4.4.3, released recently and updates to version KTU84P. Along with solving Android 4.4 KitKat problems, the Chromium Web browser and Web View have also been modified. Funky Android lists the changelog in detail.

Google posted factory images of Android 4.4.4 for Nexus devices here. Google said that the 4.4.4 KitKat update will start with Nexus 5 and expand to other locations. In addition, Google Play Edition mobile devices would also get an Android 4.4.4 KitKat update soon.

In early June, Google launched Android 4.4.3 KitKat over the air, enabling security improvements and bug fixes. Motorola Moto G was reported to have received the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update in June, but several device makers brought up problems and issues with the update, just like Android 4.4.2 KitKat problems that have frustrated Android platform users for some time now.
