Jason Bateman is on his directing streak as of late, and we have to say, we're liking it.

The director of "Bad Words" will be directing and starring in an untitled FBI wedding comedy for Universal Pictures, according to Variety.

Bateman and James Garavente will produce the FBI wedding project for their Aggregate Films banner. Bob Cooper will also produce for his Landscape Entertainment shingle.

Kristin Lowe and Sara Scott are overseeing the production for Universal.

David Flebotte and Phil Alden Robinson wrote the first draft of the script, and David Bar Katz later joined in for a rewrite, according to Deadline.com.

Katz recently wrote the Showtime pilot "Sobering" and is currently writing "The Man In The Rockefeller Suit" for Fox Searchlight.

This will be the third movie that Jason Bateman is directing, along with "Bad Words" and the upcoming "The Family Fang."

The "Arrested Development" star will be starring with Nicole Kidman and Christopher Walken for "The Family Fang," which is reportedly set to shoot mid-July in New York City.

Bateman will also be starring in two upcoming films, "This is Where I Leave You" and "Horrible Bosses 2."
